DNA & US is a platform that turns complex DNA test results into engaging stories about users’ ancestry. The challenge was to create a website that simplifies complicated genetic data and presents it in a way that users could easily understand and enjoy. The platform needed to offer a fun, interactive experience that allowed users to explore their roots and family history, while also ensuring the secure handling of sensitive genetic information.
Project Overview
To meet the challenge, we researched the DNA testing market and user needs to inform the design and development of the website. We focused on building a user-friendly, secure, and engaging platform that could transform genetic data into easy-to-understand narratives. Using tools like Figma for design, Node.js for processing data, and for interactive visualizations, we developed a modern, responsive website. We also implemented robust security measures to ensure user data was protected, and created interactive features to keep users engaged with their ancestry journey.
